Who is Inspire?
Inspire Accountants are not your average accountants! A disruptor in what is a traditional industry, the Brisbane-based accounting firm has an innovative approach to helping business owners achieve financial freedom and success. They are known for proactive tax and accounting advice, their “It’s all Sorted” lodgement service for small businesses that pays for itself in tax saved, and their commitment to ethical and impactful practices.
With a philosophy of helping business owners create a business that gives them the freedom to put family first and make a difference in the world. They are on a mission to deliver as many “Freedom Days” as possible and help their clients save tax, boost profits, or accelerate cash flow to achieve their financial goals.
It was time for a refresh
Ben Walker, the Founder of Inspire, first came to Five by Five for a website about 6 years ago. He was trying to do it all, including building and maintaining a website from scratch (not an ideal use of time for any business owner!). He decided that the money invested into a solid digital strategy well outweighed the time and effort he was spending on trying to do this himself
In 2021, we reached the milestone of building the third iteration of their website. As times and trends change, the team at Inspire understand it is important to remain relevant and ahead of the game with a schmicko website that reflects where the business currently stands. This time around though Ben wanted to put a firecracker under it from an SEO perspective. All that mattered was leads and enquiries getting the phone ringing and email enquiries flowing.
And leads is what he got!

The Ingredients of the Burger
As Inspire was looking to grow the well established business, the ingredients for the perfect burger included:
Ben has been very proactive over the years in creating high-quality authority content such as blogging, podcasting and publishing multiple books. The issue was that it was a real scattergun approach with no real focus on search intent or aligning to opportunities in Google.
Instead, we were able to:
- Deeply understand his audience and what an ideal client looks like
- Restructure the website based on the buyer journey and what was important to them
- Leverage the hundreds of blogs and podcast interviews by placing in a better SEO structure & keyword research
- Included some nice bells and whistles that allowed people to “self-serve” on the website through package selection & calculators
- Strong calls to action when people were ready to raise their hands and get in touch
Results
The new Inspire Accountants website launched on a new domain, which meant our SEO team were busy
implementing specific pre-launch strategies to give us a good head start. The graph above is an indication of the
steady, ongoing increase of traffic we have generated for the new site since launch.
